- Forum activity support. Users can read the discussions and posts online and offline. Messages are periodically synchronized from the server.
- All the files of a directory, page or file resource can be downloaded with just one tap.
- Language translations updated
- New languages: Persian
Improvements:
- Upgraded Cordova lib to 3.6.1
- New icon for activities only viewable in the Moodle site
- New loading icons
- Calendar event right panels don't displayed in tablet view when there aren't events
- Animations performance improved
Fixes:
- Complete support for iOs 8 devices
- Files inside folders in resources and directories correctly downloaded
- Synchronization hooks for plugins fixed
- File names with German umlauts correctly downloaded in the "My files" plugin
- Images correctly stored for offline display in course labels

We’ve called it version 1.2 because the feature set is inherited from the deprecated iOS-only app “My Moodle” which was version 1.1.
Thanks to all the developers who’ve worked on this version of the app: Juan Leyva, Jerome Mouneyrac, Barbara Ramiro, Martin Dougiamas and Josep Gifreu.
The new app has been designed as a platform with the following strengths:
- It is secure
- It can work offline
- It can support notifications (coming soon)
- It can be branded and expanded by an institution
- It makes some Moodle operations faster and more convenient
