Wie installiere ich PHP?

Normalerweise wird PHP zusammen mit Apache und MySQL - bekannt als AMP - installiert, siehe Installation von Apache, MySQL und PHP. Man kann PHP auch aus den Sourcen kompilieren - das kann notwendig sein, wenn Sie als Moodle-Entwickler eine ganz neue PHP-Version benötigen. PHP selbst benötigt viele abhängige Pakete, die Sie dann ebenfalls aus den Sourcen kompilieren müssen, was u.U. etwas kompliziert und trickreich sein kann (z.B. GD).
