Modifying core code - The Drupal way

Hi Petr, I like the general idea of providing local customizations of core code as a plugin. In fact, Drupal allows for overriding core functions by modules, see http://drupal.org/node/347659 for an example an further information. --Frank Ralf 09:20, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Local Customisation in Moodle 1.9

Hi there, am I going mad? Has the very useful information on local customisation in Moodle 1.9 disappeared? Whilst I am very excited about the new features available in Moodle 2.0, we will be maintaining sites in 1.9 for probably years to come. Can we have the information back please? :) --Dan Ballance 20:49, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
