Enable/Disable Filters by Activities

This topic could cover two different things.

  * How to activate/deactivate available filters by activities
  * How to activate/deactivate available filters for specific pages

It has happened that functioning pages using Java applets have not been able to load some resource files (GIF and TXT). (Though I believe these resources could be fetched with the appropriate URL anyhow.) After some experimenting they have functioned properly when the adm turned off the filters. (I'm really in over my head, but I think I'm in the right place and that this information should be given to filter developers. I wasn't sure what turning off the filter means. Filter functions like the algebra and TEX filter are still running. We've only done this on our development server.)
