Hi Evan. I won't directly modify the document myself. If you make all the changes you'll know everything that's going on.
As per the discussion in the forum (http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=140907) consider removing the sort_order from the scale_items table and adding a sort order field to the scale table. Possible values, ascending, descending and alphabetical. --Andrew Davis 3:48 AM, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
