Designer is a Moodle course format plugin that extends the standard course layout with flexible structure, navigation options, and structured learning paths across activities and courses.

Designer is a Moodle course format plugin that provides flexible layout, structure, and navigation options for Moodle courses.
It allows teachers to apply different layouts and visual representations to sections and activities within the same course, supporting purpose-driven course design. Designer includes multiple course types, configurable section and activity layouts, and styling options at section, activity, or course level.
In addition to layout configuration, Designer enhances course orientation and navigation through features such as section overviews, configurable course headers, and persistent access to selected activities. The plugin allows courses to be configured as prerequisites, in addition to activities, to support structured learning paths and multi-course programs.
