An administrator can enable and configure virus scanners for use on uploaded files through Antivirus plugins available on Moodle Marketplace

Sophos SAV-DI antivirus

This plugin adds virus scanner support for the Sophos Anti-Virus Dynamic Interface (SAV-DI). The plugin supports the scanner daemon installed locally to the web server as well as remotely. It is available as Sophos SAV-DI antivirus.

ClamAV antivirus

ClamAV antivirus is available as a standard plugin. To make use of ClamAV antivirus, ClamAV® should be installed on your server. See http://www.clamav.net for more information.
