PLA block: Curriculum Design Tool
1. After you download this package which is a zip file, unzip it, then put pla folder under blocks, go to site administration, click Notification, the block is installed, the block name called Curriculum Design
2. This block is not associated with any course, to easy access the tool, you can add the block at any level, site level or course level, but it will access the same place.
3. To add the block, Turn Editing On, then add block-Curriculum Design.
If it is your first time to use this tool, some initialization work needs to be done.
1. Click Curriculum Design Tool from the block where you installed this block, it will initialize required predefined data the first time you launch the tool. Click continue, you will be in the front page of this tool.
2.To simplify process, please click Administration , then choose Customize Tool (first link), then choose Customize Meta Data from right side menu (bottom one), scroll down to find Learner Level and Optional Drop downlist (default:Type), by default, it is set up display and require this field Yes, change all of them to No
