On top of the Collabora editor page, there is a link which enables the teacher to lock or unlock the document.
- Document currently unlocked, click here to lock it and prevent editing: if this is the setting, students with access can edit the document.
- Document currently locked, click here to unlock it and allow editing: if this is the setting, only the teacher can edit the document.
Under this link, the Collabora editor is shown. The Collabora editor is a web based version of LibreOffice that makes it possible for students to simultaneously collaborate on a document (text, spreadsheet or presentation).
On the right end, under the document you can see the number of users logged in to this document, with the option to follow the position of the currently editing user.
