This error is displayed by the Microsoft Services OneNote Assignment.

Normal Use Case

A user (applies to all roles) will click on the OneNote actions: Work on this [assignment] button from the Moodle assignment. The OneNote plugin will automatically create a new OneNote page in the user's OneNote on-line program.

Error Message "Could not open the OneNote page for this submission or feedback"

This message will be displayed if the Moodle Server is unable to access the Microsoft Online Services or if the user has never accessed Microsoft Online to activate their OneNote Application.

Resolution

1. Confirm that there is connectivity between the Moodle Site and OneNote by logging into a Microsoft Account via the OneNote block.
2. Confirm that the user has accessed their personal Office OneNote account by having the user log into http://office.live.com and clicking on the OneNote Online application button.
3. Once step two has been completed have user attempt to access the Moodle Assignment and click on the "OneNote actions: Work on this" button.
