Talk:Grade import

This page needs an explanation about mapping the grade items, as well, not just mapping the email to useremail. I don't understand it well enough to write it myself, yet.

Advice to teachers: This is a more painful process than you expect, and should be streamlined to allow offline editing of the csv or xml file. This is very cumbersome, making it almost unusable as a way to edit the grades in the more teacher-friendly spreadsheet format. You need to manually set an ID number to every assignment to make this work without the tedious manual mapping every time you import grades. It looks like the import software was written as a method of last resort to import grades from another system rather than an easier way to edit grades offline.
