Template:Moodle 1.9To use groupings in Moodle 1.9 onwards, the feature must be enabled by checking the enablegroupings box in Administration > Miscellaneous > Experimental. This will result in a groupings tab appearing on the Groups page.

To create a grouping:

  1. Click the groupings tab on the groups page.
  2. Click the "Create grouping" button.
  3. Give the grouping a name and description (optional).
  4. Click the "Save changes" button.
