Click ''Take Attendance'' to assign attendance statuses to students. The default statuses are Present (P), Absent (A), Late (L), and Excuses (E). You can change these by clicking ''Settings'' within the Attendance block.
 
Attendance reports can be downloaded in Excel (.xls) format by clicking on ''Reports''.


The Attendance block shows students a quick summary of their attendance on the course page.  For teachers it gives quick links to administrative functions in the [[Attendance_module|Attendance module]] on the course page.

Used in association with the Attendance module, the Attendance block allows you to take attendance, download an attendance report, and change the settings.

Click Take Attendance to assign attendance statuses to students. The default statuses are Present (P), Absent (A), Late (L), and Excuses (E). You can change these by clicking Settings within the Attendance block.

Attendance reports can be downloaded in Excel (.xls) format by clicking on Reports.
