I couldn't find any information about it in the release notes and version changes, but files, that can be imported properly under 1.5 just don't work in the new version. All I get is a blank page. The help pages shipped with Moodle are not the same as the ones here...
- XML format is not included in the docs here....

Also, you must export questions from other classes to be able to get the questions into the test bank... apparently there's no easy way to share question categories across courses.
- Export questions from Course A
- import questions into Course B
