Talk:Short answer analysis

From MoodleDocs
I see what you mean. I suggest renaming this page to "Short answer analysis (Lesson)" in case anybody gets lost. --Chris collman 10:15, 17 December 2006 (CST)

Sorry, Chris, but I don't think it was a good idea to move this page away from the Lesson module. At the moment the 2 sub-types of short answer question ("normal" and "regular expressions based") are only available to the Lesson module. The present Short answer analysis page does not make sense to those who want to create questions for the Quiz module. Would you please move this page back to the Lesson module? I would do it myself if I knew how to do it in the MoodleDocs Wiki. Thanks,

Thanks Joseph, another case of my ignorance showing :) Thinking about a solution that solves two problems. 1) the Lesson Module page could get really long. I would like to see it evolve to something like Teacher Documentation page. 2) A problem I did not consider is that both Quiz and Lesson might be directed here, where the second type of analysis does not work for Quiz.
I will quickly write something in the article as a warning, check the links to the page and make sure Quiz people don't come here. Chris collman

The Lesson Module page was getting too large. I started with the question type section and created links to the question type page. A lot of work was spent on describing and giving example for the new 1.6 short answer analysis. I have tried to link it to other pages.
