During account creation invalidsesskey may be the result of a miss configured or non existent site certificate. A simple test for this possible issue is (in IE 7 or 8)
from the browser tool bar go to
tools ->
Internet options ->
security ->
trusted sites ->
then the sites button and uncheck require server verification,
click close
then apply
Restart the browser and attempt to create an account using IE. If the error is gone you have a diagnosis.
