OK, I understand the information provided, but the questions are, "Is there a complete description of what sessions actually do? What is their purpose? what information do they hold? How are they constructed? How long should they be retained for? How to delete them?" Considering that sessions accumulate and can absorb a great deal of server space, would it not be a good idea to explain all these things in some detail in Moodle Docs? --Colin Fraser 20:27, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
