Getting your Moodle

From MoodleDocs

Template:Getting your Moodle

Moodle is most commonly installed on a web server to work but you can run it standalone.

This section contains information and resources about what to do before and during installation of Moodle:

  • Learn why and how to register your site.
  • See where you can try and play with Moodle or get it freely installed for you.

Once you have successfully installed Moodle, you can explore the Managing a Moodle site section of these docs for information about managing your site, mostly as Administrator or Manager. If you want to see how Moodle can be used by a teacher or similar user, see Managing a Moodle course and Learning and evaluation tools sections.
