This needs some work

I am a newbie with this. I can not find the plugin at modules and plugins (the enrollment plugin link). Find the paypal plugin with a search.

This page refers to "this page" and does not give any context. Is this the course setting or the site adminblock setting.

Hi Chris, thanks for your page edits and comments, and apologies for delay in replying. I've added the location of the PayPal enrolment settings in Moodle and have removed the reference to Moodle 1.9, since it has been included in the core Moodle for some time now. --Helen Foster 07:26, 29 September 2008 (CDT)

This page indicates that you can set each course's cost individually, but does not elaborate on how to do so. If you have courses that range in prices, you can easily individually set a course’s price. To do so, in the Administration menu, click on Settings. Scroll down the Settings menu and in the “Availability” section there is a Cost field. The individual course settings price will overrule a site wide price if you set one. Needs a link to Troubleshooting

As a newbie, I don't know if the Paypal plugin is installed with Moodle or if need to fetch it from somewhere. (The word "plugin" implies something you have to add.) I confirmed later it is included, but in spite of following instructions and reading a few forum posts I am unable to view the payment option. I just get the login screen. This page needs a "If you don't see the Paypal payment option, then check for the following" section.

Cannot find language encoding option in PayPal

I was looking at the PayPal option for enrollment and went to my PayPal account to check its encoding as instructed. The directions say to select language encoding in my Profile. I went to my PayPal Profile and could not find a language encoding option. There is a language preference option, but that only selects the default language used when I log in.

Gerald, sorry I can't answer your question, however I suggest you post in the Enrolment Plugins forum where most likely someone will be able to help you. --Helen Foster 12:49, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
