Talk:CSV user relationships block

Note to readers: The tutor block is now called 'CSV user relationships block' but once installed is called 'Upload Tutor Relationships'. It is located at Modules and plugins page: http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=13&rid=2395 It was first created in the tracker as contrib-1025 where there is also a download of the file but an OLDER version. Contrib-1112 is also included in it. Put the whole folder inside the blocks folder. AT your website Add the block which is called 'Upload Tutor Relationships' The csv text file does NOT need a heading, just Tutor Id#,Tutee ID#, add or TutorID#, tuteeID#,del Note: currently Del fails to work but should be fixed. Use del lower case. Add and add work fine. You will want to lock that field idnumber so users can't edit it. (admins still can). Anyone creative users who already put text or numbers in that field will prevent you from updating that number when you do upload users. It will say, Tutee not found(44246)where the example number is the idnumber you intended to use for the tutee or tutor. Edit those manually. To lock the idnumber field for all other users go to your moodle page/users/authentication/manual accounts and select 'locked' in the drop-down for idnumber.
