Talk:Documentation philosophy
From MoodleDocs
Encouraging everyone to contribute
Top priority for MoodleDocs is to encourage everyone to contribute, perhaps by doing some/all of the following:
MoodleDocs development
- Improve MoodleDocs Main Page
- Improve MoodleDocs Help
- Change MoodleDocs navigation
- Create a MoodleDocs tutorial e.g. Wikipedia:Tutorial
- Consider whether the current structure of MoodleDocs may be improved
Raising the profile of MoodleDocs on moodle.org
- Replace http://moodle.org/doc/ with MoodleDocs links
- Add MoodleDocs links to each page in Teacher's Hands-on Playground and Moodle Features Demo
- Add MoodleDocs links to each forum description in Using Moodle
- Remove the course Moodle Documentation completely (moving discussions to Using Moodle and resources to the Moodle Exchange), replacing it with MoodleDocs and encouraging contributors to use the wiki discussion pages
- Create a MoodleDocs filter similar to the bug filter so that typing "MoodleDocs page title" in a forum discussion auto-links to a MoodleDocs page
- Style MoodleDocs to match moodle.org
