This screens shows all existing Livedesk instances.

Each livedesk can be bound to compatible moodle activities it can monitor, and will be attached to some block instances within several courses.

People allowed to create a new livedesk will be given a link to do so.

People allowed to delete livedesks can use the delete icon at the end of the line. Note that deleting a Livedesk deletes all settings for this livedesk along with the queue refering to the handled modules. Conversely, log inserts generated by the livedesk instance WILL NOT be deleted.

Binding The Same Activity Module to Distinct Livedesk Instances

This is NOT a common use case. Usually, once a module is monitored by a Livedesk instance, there should be no reason the same activity module (say, a forum) be attached to another instance. However, the implementation do not block this kind of settings.

Entries from the module will appear in both Livedesk monitor boards, one f.e. forum message generating only one entry for each message. The queue entry will be shared by both Livedesk and if an aswer is given by one side, the other Livedesk will check this entry as answered also.

By extension, deleting a Livedesk instance may cause the deletion of all entries related to the course modules attached to that instance. In consequence, the queue will remove these entries for all Livedesks bound to those course modules.
