::: brilliant, that's the stuff. Just to be clear, I'm not being lazy, I knew I could add comments - can I create pages too? Do I have enough permissions? And if I do, what are the rules about what pages I can create, when and where? I've also never used this wiki before and I did have a look at the log but couldn't make a lot of sense of it. Wasn't even sure of what had happened - just a page I *thought* I recognised in Google listings *seemed* to be taking me to the wrong place. If it confused me, it will confuse others. Modifying core code - The Drupal way
Hi Petr, I like the general idea of providing local customizations of core code as a plugin. In fact, Drupal allows for overriding core functions by modules, see http://drupal.org/node/347659 for an example an further information. --Frank Ralf 09:20, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Local Customisation in Moodle 1.9
Hi there, am I going mad? Has the very useful information on local customisation in Moodle 1.9 disappeared? Whilst I am very excited about the new features available in Moodle 2.0, we will be maintaining sites in 1.9 for probably years to come. - Good point. Can you dig the old version out of the history tab above, and copy/paste it onto a Local customisation (Moodle 1.9) page? Of course, I could do that too, but I am feeling lazy, and you are the one who wants the information ;-)--Tim Hunt 21:00, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
