This page is for dumping ideas for the official Moodle mobile app (for iPhone and Android, initially).

  1. It should use the new web services in Moodle 2.0 for security
  2. Using the camera:
    1. Take a photo/video of an assignment/thing, add a grade and submit as feedback to an Offline assignment
    2. Take a photo/video and post as attachment to a forum for discussion
    3. Take a photo/video and post to a database activity (including location)
  3. Using location services:
    1. Update a location field in the profile with current location, for display with Google maps
  4. Synch the participants of a course so we can have nice choose-lists of users (eg like contacts app or coverflow or iPad photos app with pinchzoom on groups, etc)
