Usability issues - Metacourses

Prepare a listing of the various resource and activities and compare how groups are either relevant or not for each of them. Again the goal is for consistency but I think having a clearer idea of what we mean by separate, visible, and no groups would be helpful and give developers of modules and resources a clear idea of what functionality they need to consider when preparing to make use of groups. Some questions include: Are there activities that do not use groups? Do we use the concept consistently across the various activities?
