RSS (Really Simple Syndication, depending on who you ask) allows certain web browsers and specialized programs to automatically check for updates to a page.

RSS jarioak gaitu

To enable RSS as administrator, go to Configuration and under Variables: Miscellaneous set enablerssfeeds to Yes. In v1.7 this option moved to the Server menu. Then in Configuration: Modules you can enable an RSS feed for each module. Finally, in the settings for each individual instance of a particular module you must enable the RSS feed and specify the settings (e.g. how many articles to display, what kind of article).

Foroetan RSSak erabiltzeko oharra

1. Enable RSSak gaitu ondoko lekuan: Gunearen kudeaketa > Zerbitzaria > RSS

2. Gunearen kudeaketa > Moduluak > Jarduerak > Foroa > Ezarpenak > forum_enablerssfeeds = Bai

This will enable the RSS option to appear in Forum properties of course. Creators of forums will still have to turn on RSS manually when creating a forum. Not all forums will automatically have RSS option displayed.

1.8+ bertsiotik aurrera, bigarren pausua ezberdina da. Gunearen kudeaketan gaudela, aukera ezazu Moduluak > Jarduerak > (foroaren) Ezarpenakt > forum_enablerssfeedshahe lerroan baietz jarri.

RSS jarioetara harpidetu

Moodle-ren RSS jario batera harpidetzeko, botoian sakatutakoan, nabigatzailean azalduko den helbidea norberaren jario-irakurlean kopiatu behar da. Nabigatzaile askok RSS jarioari automatikoki erreparatzen badiote ere (IE7-k edo Firefox-ek, adibidez), Moodle-k ez omen die informazio zuzena bidaltzen.
