Non-standard blocks are those that do not come supplied with Moodle. Installing these will require some effort by your Moodle Administrator.

Please be aware that third-party blocks may have all sorts of quality issues, may not work correctly, and even if they work now may not work when you next upgrade your Moodle. Please research the modules properly before committing to them!
