The Preferences page gives users quick access to various settings they might wish to edit. It can be accessed directly from the user menu top right or from a link in the user's Profile page.
The preferences of another user may be accessed from a link on their Profile page, for those who have access to it.
What is displayed on the Preferences page may vary according to the permissions of each individual.:
Cuenta del usuario
Links here allow users to edit their profile information and change their password, specify how they wish to receive forum and other notifications, choose a text editor (if allowed) and view/reset their RSS token.
Idioma preferido
Tome nota de que el cambiar aquí su idioma preferido solamente afecta a la interfaz de Moodle y no cambia a los contentidos actuales del curso.

Tipo de resumen de Email
This setting determines how you receive any posts from Forums to which you are subscribed, allowing you to receive messages individually or on a daily basis.
Auto-suscripción al Foro
This setting lets you decide if you want email copies of posts that are added to forums. If you set this to subscribe, the system will automatically email you copies of new posts in discussions that you post in, unless you manually override it when posting.
Rastreo del Foro
Enabling forum tracking means highlighting the posts you have not read yet, which should improve your forum navigation.
Preferencias del Editor de texto
- Usualmente puede dejarse esto como el 'Editor por defecto' (Default editor). En una instalación nueva este es el Editor Atto. Si su administrador lo permite, Usted puede cambiarlo al Editor TinyMCE.
- Si Usted quiere usar el plugin del Editor cloze para escribir el Tipo de Pregunta con respuestas incrustadas (Cloze), Usted debe de elegir al Editor TinyMCE como su editor de texto.
- Si Usted encuentra que su navegador de Internet no lepermite editar texto, cambie esta configuración a 'Editor de texto simple' (Plain text editor).
- Si el administrador del sitio hubiera habilitado otros editores, desde aquí puede Usted seleccionarlos.

Insignias
Aquí el usuario puede gestionar y descargar sus insignias, configurar niveles de privacidad y conectarse a su mochila de insignias.
Portafolios
En donde los portafolios hayan sido habilitados, se puede configurar auí su visibilidad en forma individual.
Blogs
Aquí pueden configurarse las preferencias del [[Blog|blog], y registrar blogs externos.
Roles
Aquí pueden verse y revisarse las asignaciones de rol y los permisos del usuario.
Misceláneos
- Lo que se muestre aquí depende de los permisos y roles del usuario.
- Si el Monitoreo de evento está habilitado en el sitio, un enlace estará disponible en esta sección.
