Translating Moodle Academy

The translation of the Moodle Academy courses is a different process then the translation of the Moodle interface. While the translation of the Moodle interface is about changing the code, Academy translation focuses on adapting course content.

To get started, you’ll first take a short course on how to translate Moodle Academy content following a course about translating Moodle Academy. After completing it, a Moodle Academy team member will review your work and grant you translation access — this usually takes a few days.

Once you have access, you’ll see an additional icon next to each course item Moodle Academy, allowing you to translate content directly into your language. Changes will appear immediately.
