I think this idea is a bit dangerous. There is probably always be really weird and obscure but occasionally useful configurations that are impossible to set up using the UI, but which a knowledgeable admin might set up by editing the block instances table directly in the DB. We need to think carefully before just trashing that configuration.--Tim Hunt 06:38, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
