Glossary auto-linking is a filter that will create links to a glossary activity entry where the word or phrase of the glossary entry is used within the same course in which the glossary is located. This includes forum postings, pages, labels etc.
Site Administration settings
Glossary auto-linking must be enabled by an administrator via Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Filters. This Filter can be enabled by selecting either On (where glossary entries will be by default auto-linked) or Off but available (where the option to use auto-linking is provided in the glossary activity settings).
Note: Enabling linking for the glossary does not automatically turn on linking for each entry - linking needs to be set for each entry individually.
