What kind of questions are in scope

This is a useful and actionable introduction, but it would be useful to have a bit more about what kind of questions can be used with this format. I want to import a lot of questions that are multiple-response, sometimes there's a single correct answer, sometimes multiple options need to be selected. Can I use "ANSWER: A, D" or "ANSWER: A D" or is this import function just not suitable for this kind of question? If there were a link to a specification of that format, that would answer my questions. A Google search leads to lots of different Moodle help files so there isn't an obvious definitive answer.
