Overview

By default, Moodle Workplace displays up to four tabs in the main navigation:

  • Dashboard: A customisable dashboard, identical to the one in standard Moodle.
  • My courses: Displays information about the user's courses, programs, and certifications. You find more details on the dedicated My courses page(s).
  • My teams: Displays information about team members of managers or department leads. The My teams page has been implemented as a Custom page. By default, it displays the Team overview block; however, you can edit this page to add, remove, or move blocks if required.
  • Site administration: Configuration of Moodle Workplace (admins only).

Moodle Workplace lets you add Custom pages to create personalised experiences for different audiences by easily adding new pages to the main navigation.

Dashboard

The handling of the Dashboard tab is identical to the standard Moodle dashboard. However, Moodle Workplace provides some extra blocks that can be placed on the dashboard's centre or in the side drawer:

If a user has permission to change the layout of the dashboard via the Add a block option in the side drawer, the selection of the blocks, their individual configuration options, and the placement options (content and right) can be modified.

Moodle Workplace supports tenant dashboards. They can either be linked to the default site dashboard page, or a personalised dashboard can be created.
