One problem with "Use 'one section per page'" is that the user (a student, especially) can no longer effectively use the browser's Ctrl-F search facility to search the whole course and locate a resource, label, activity etc. that interests them. It really does matter with longer courses, where the pertinent resource / activity may be sitting anywhere, in any course section.

We need a good "Search this course" option. Global search at the top does NOT default to course search when we're on a course page, while I think it should. Then finding a course item would be easy, and the "one section per page" course setting could really come into its own.

Hi there! Feel free to edit the page pointing out the problem with one section per page if you feel it will be useful to others. --Mary Cooch (talk) 08:36, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
