- Moodle works with PayPal to allow you to charge for your courses.
- Anyone who wants to buy a course must first have an account on your site. You might want to Enable sign up.
Set up PayPal on your site
- Log in with your administrator account
- Go to Site administration > Plugins > Enrolments > Manage enrol plugins and click the eye icon opposite Enrolment on payment.
- Click the settings link, configure as required then click the 'Save changes' button.
- A user with the Configure enrolment on payment instances capability (by default manager only) can then add Enrolment on payment as an enrolment method in the course as follows:
- On the Participants page, click the Actions menu (gear icon) and select Enrolment methods.
- Choose 'Enrolment on payment' from the Add dropdown menu.
- Select a payment account, amend the enrolment fee as necessary then click the button 'Add method'.
Set up PayPal in your course
- Log in with your administrator account
- Go to the course you want to allow users to access
- From Course navigatoin,click Participants
- Click the cog icon on the right (above Enrol users) and select Enrolment methods
- From the Add method drop down, select PayPal
- Customise the settings if you wish
- Click the Add method button to save.
