- Your Moodle front page is known as Site home. This is the page non-logged in users see.
- With MoodleCloud sites by default, you just see the login page until you are logged in.
Landing page when logged in
- By default your users will be sent to their personal Dashboard page once they have logged in. This gives information about courses they are enrolled in.
- You can change this so that they go to the Site home (front page) if you prefer.
- Log in with your administrator account
- From the left panel (the Navigation drawer) click Site administration
- Click the Appearance tab
- Click Navigation
- Change the Home page for users to Site.
Change site name and course information
- Log in with your administrator account
- From the left panel (the Navigation drawer) click Site administration
- Scroll down to the Front page section and click Front page settings
- Change the long and short name of your site here.
- Decide which items will be shown to non-logged in and logged in users from the two drop downs.
- Click Save changes
Add a site summary to the central area
- Log in with your administrator account and go to the front page/Site home
- Click the cog/Edit icon top right to turn on the editing
- Click the cog/Edit icon on the left to display a text editor where you can add your site information.
