Filter können verwendet werden, um Links, Emoticons, Formeln u.a. in Moodle anzuzeigen.
Filter können systemweit, im Kurs oder in Aktivitäten aktiviert doer deaktiviert werden. Z.B. können Trainer/innen die automatische Verlinkung zum Glossar in Tests deaktivieren.
Standardfilter
Folgende Filter sind in der Standardinstallation von Moodle verfügbar:
- Auto-Verlinkung der Aktivitätsnamen - This scans text for activity titles that exist in the same course and creates a link
- Algebraische Notation - This filter will convert algebra code into GIF images
- URL als Link oder Bild anzeigen - This filter converts URLs in selected formats, such as Moodle auto-format, to click-able links
- Auto-Verlinkung zu Datenbanken - As the name suggests, this filter enables automatic linking of Database module entries
- Emoticon als Bild anzeigen - This converts emoticon (smiley) characters into images
- E-Mail-Absicherung - This obfuscates email address links to make them more difficult for spammers to harvest
- Auto-Verlinkung zu Glossars - This scans text for glossary entries that exist in the same course and creates a link
- Multimedia-Plugins - This finds a link in text that points to a multimedia resource and replaces the link with an appropriate multimedia player code which can play the resource
- Mehrsprachiger Inhalt - This filter enables resources to be created in multiple languages
- TeX-Notation
- Wortzensur - This filter "blacks out" words found on a list
