I have commented on an omission here in the Forums just now:

I'm picking up a closed discussion from last year:

I've done some experiments. The Reset button clears unsaved grading feedback (comments, rubric selections, etc.). It does not clear previously saved feedback.

The weird thing is that there is no information on this in the Assignment Settings page in the Moodle documentation:
