Line 1: Line 1:
nLearning Limited developed a new Moodle integration as an activity module for a client. This integration (like Dan Marsden’s) is a deep integration. Unlike Dan’s it has been kept abstracted from the core and as a result will work in Moodle versions from 1.8 upwards. iParadigms (as of 9 July 2009) have taken on support of this integration within the core of the Turnitin application and have extended the API to accommodate this type of solution.

The new integration:

* Does not open in a frame it is integrated deeply into Moodle
* It stores the files in Moodle and places grades in the Moodle gradebook.
* You can still log-in to Turnitin and view all of your files. Students can (if needed) submit directly through native Turnitin.
* The integration is approved for use with Turnitin and supported through the open integrations programme.
