Mary, I did a quick edit of what you did on the Course page. Nice. Please check it to make sure I got it right. Teachers don't have to do anything special to edit those "extra" topics? | |||
I think the course sections are more friendly that lesson "answers" I work with in 1.5. One of my early mistakes was having 6 answers on one question then 4 on all the others. I changed the setting from 10 to 4 to cut down on the page length and then got frustrated that I could see but my edits on the 5th and 6th answers previously entered, would not hold. Hi Mary, good question you put on Helen's page. I would also suggest HTML linking is another page that sort of relates. Maybe this topic deserves a section on that page, plus an example. As I recall, some versions of Moodle or perhaps some role settings, do not allow a student to visit a hidden resource. There were also issues about visiting other courses that had resources (hidden or otherwise). However, if you have an example that works, then it should certainly be in MoodleDocs because it is very useful tip/trick. Best --Chris collman 08:37, 20 December 2008 (CST)
