By default a regular teacher can't add a new course. To add a new course to Moodle you need to have either [[Administrator|Adminstrator]], [[Course creator|Course Creator]] or [[Manager|Manager]] rights.

Neue Kurse werden in der Regel von Personen in den Rollen [[Administrator-Rolle|Administrator/in]], [[Manager-Rolle|Manager/in]] oder [[Kursverwalter-Rolle|Kursverwalter/in]]. In diesen Rollen ist die Fähigkeit [[Capabilities/moodle/course:create]] standardmäßig auf ''Erlauben'' gesetzt.

==Wie lege ich einen neuen Kurs an?==

Auf der Moodle-Seite ''Alle Kurse'' (und auf allen Kursunterbereichsseiten) finden Sie - die entsprechenden Rechte vorausgesetzt - ganz unten einen Button ''Neuen Kurs anlegen''. Sobald Sie diesen Button anklicken, wird ein neuer Moodle-Kurs angelegt, und Sie werden auf eine Seite geleitet, wo Sie alle [[Kurseinstellungen]] vornehmen können. Nachdem Sie Ihre Kurseinstellungen gewählt und gespeichert haben, werden Sie auf eine Seite geleitet, auf der Sie Nutzer/innen in den Kurs [[Eingeschriebene Nutzer/innen|einschreiben]] können. ''Nutzer/innen einschreiben'' bedeutet in diesem Zusammenhang, dass Sie ausgewählten Nutzer/innen bestimmte [[Rollen zuweisen|Rollen im Kurs zuweisen]]. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie auch unter [[Kurseinschreibung]].

*Delete the category ("To be deleted") and choose "Delete ALL - cannot be undone".

Adding a course

To add a course:

  • Go to Settings>Site Administration>Courses>Add/edit courses

  • Choose the category where you want your course to be. For more information see Course categories
  • Click the "Add a new course" button
  • Enter the course settings, then click the "Save changes" button.
  • On the next screen, choose your students/teachers to assign to the course.


Deleting a course(s)
