Admins can choose to enable/disable AJAX across the whole site and also AJAX course editing in ''Settings > Site administration > Appearance > AJAX and Javascript''.
Admins can choose to disable AJAX across the whole site in ''Settings > Site administration > Appearance > AJAX and Javascript''. Ajax is enabled by default.


It is recommended that AJAX is enabled, since it is required for an increasing number of features in Moodle, such as [[Using Forum|quick forum rating]].
