Usually the introduction will tell you more about the purpose of the quiz and how it will be assessed. If applicable the page will also show the quiz opening and closing dates and times. If you have already attempted the quiz you will see a table listing all your previous attempts together with the time you completed them and the marks and grades. Notice that there may be a difference between the "Marks" and "Grade" column. Your teacher may have wanted the grade for the quiz to be out of a certain number of points and the Grade column therefore will contain a rescaling of the Marks column to achieve this.

Clicking on a given quiz, you will see the quiz Info tab with the quiz name and description, its availability date and the information concerning the number of students who have attempted the quiz (and whose attempts at the quiz you can view).

You can always edit the quiz by clicking Update the quiz (the top right side). Enabling block editing allows teachers the option of adding HTML and/or quiz results blocks.
