Dialogue
- Graham McKinnell, UC, showed how he uses Dialogues and automatically opens a dialogue with each student
- The main reasons for doing this are to:
- Avoid losing emails
- Contains/organises all dialogue for a student for a unit
- Allows multiple teachers to interact with individual students
- When setting up, choose group mode - separate groups (its not clear why)
- Then you can open a dialogue - with all participants
Question
- I asked what Graham does when he gets an email from a student. He said that if this happens its because there's something wrong with Moodle e.g. the student isn't enrolled. (Personally, I tend to make use of forums and email rather than dialogues.)
