Template:Moodle 1.6

Moodle 1.6 and onwards includes My Moodle, which shows a customisable "dashboard" of information relevant to each user.

In the center are all the courses one has access to, including information about unread posts, new assignments, upcoming quizzes and so on in each.

The blocks on both sides can be customised in two ways:

1) The admin can specify "Sticky blocks" from the Admin page that appear on every user's My Moodle page.

2) The user can (if the admin allows it) add their own blocks.

Enabling My Moodle

  • Set mymoodleredirect to 'Yes' in the miscellaneous section of Administration >> Configuration >> Variables
  • Configure My Moodle sticky blocks in Administration >> Sticky blocks
  • note: this replaces the top level site breadcrumb with /my"
