SSL Only Access

SSL is a technology to ensure communications over the Internet are encrypted and therefore cannot be intercepted. A secure connection can be normally identified by "https://" at the beginning of the Address.

On Moodle

If you see this error when logging into a Moodle site, the administrator of your site has made this secure connection a mandatory requirement, and you are attempting to connect without the secure element.

To Correct:

Either

Amend the address to read "https://" at the beginning of the address

Or

Click the "Continue" button usually presented on the error page.
