Adding a wiki page

There are two main ways to add a new Wiki page:

Add an Activity

You can select Wiki from the Add an Activity pull down menus in a course.

Using Search

Enter the name of the page you woul like to create in the Search box on a Wiki page

If the page already exists, you will be takenn to that page
If the page does not exist, you will see:
There is no page titled "Your new page". You can create this page.
Click on create this page, and begin editing

From a Wiki page

You can also create a new Wiki page by editing an existing page and adding a Wiki link to the page you want to create - e.g. [[New page]]

Then click either on Save page or on Show preview'

You will then see a clicable link to your New Page; click on it and bein to edit.

Editing a Wiki

  • Click on the edit tag at the top of the Wiki page
  • Edit the text as you see fit.
  • Use wiki tags for formatting and creating links that are needed.
  • Go to Help:Editing to learn more about the Wiki formatting tags
