The Spam cleaner can be used to locate user accounts responsible for spam and other nasty stuff and help you delete them.
It basically allows you to search profiles, blogs and other content for particularly spammy keywords (like viagra), then presents you with a result list which you can browse and then easily delete problem user profiles.
The Spam Cleaner is a standard admin report in these versions of Moodle:
- Moodle 2.0 dev
- Moodle 1.9.4 and later.
- Moodle 1.8.8+ stable and weeklies (MOODLE_18_STABLE) from 25th February 2008
- Moodle 1.7.7+ stable (MOODLE_17_STABLE) from 25th February 2008
- Moodle 1.6.9+ stable (MOODLE_16_STABLE) from 25th February 2008
