Roles and permissions


  • This allows a user to create courses from Settings>Site Administration>Courses>Add/edit courses
  • The default roles of Manager and Course creator have this set to allow
  • These roles must be assigned in the system or category context for users to be able to create courses
  • This also allows a user to delete a course that they themselves have created, within 24 hours of its creation, even if they do not have Capabilities/moodle/course:delete set to allow.
