Before you can access presentations or catalogs on a Mediasite Server, you must specify the Mediasite settings:

  • Mediasite Server: The URL for the Mediasite server including the Mediasite root virtual directory, for example: http://mediasiteserver.yourdomain.com/mediasite.
  • Username/Password: Enter the credentials of an administrator or user on the Mediasite Server. The credentials you enter in the Mediasite options determine the level of access you have on the Mediasite Server, that is, which presentations and catalogs you can see.
  • Unmask: Click the Unmask checkbox to make the password visible. This feature is disabled be default.
  • Ticket Duration: Length in minutes that generated authorization tickets will be valid.
  • Restrict to IP: Bind authorization tickets to the client IP address to prevent link sharing. This may need to be disabled when using a CDN or if the Moodle and Mediasite servers are on different networks.

Once you have entered the values click Save Changes
